An efficient and professional business that has a true understanding of how events should work and run. No task is too hard for these guys, they put their all into every project and the results show on the day of the event! Would recommend for any event organisers.

I recently recieved a call from an unsaved number in my phone… of course, I didn’t answer it. It’s called again and in kind, I did not answer.

A 3rd 4th and 5th time and finally I caved.

“Who is this? What do you want?” I spit sharply down my obscenely cracked phone screen.

Before this mystery caller even had a chance to speak I doubled down.

“No, I’m not interested in extending my car warranty, there isn’t a problem with my router and do NOT want to hear about any pyramid scheme.”

“Umm jarrad? You ok mate?” I hear.

The confusion sets in.

‘That’s not a thick Kolkata accent trying to pass as an Australian’ I think to myself.

It wasn’t.

It was Kyle Bailey from Kyron events.

Arguably even worse.

A deep sigh – “Hey kyle what’s up?”

“Jarrad, you don’t have my number saved after all these years?”

I ignore the question.

“What’s going on mate?” I quickly change subject.

“Look were starting to roll out our new website and hoped to get a testimony from you that we can use to help showcase some of our best qualities.”

His request is met with silence from my end.

“Hmmm” I disinterestedly reply.

My mind races as I think back over the last 5 years of working together.

How they helped us build some our first sites for our festivals. How they were instrumental in our growth from 4,000 people all the way to 16,000.

I consider how they have at all times being completely professional while also maintaining their cool and calm composure through every single event plan and build. Risen to every challenge and curve ball. Executed absolutely everything that’s ever been asked of them and so much more.

My memory flickers to moments of complete understanding of me, their clients need, and their flexibility to work around so many various budget requirements and quite frankly unrealistic timeliness I have set them.

I dance through the visions in my mind of Kyle and Jack time and time again providing invaluable suggestions and input and using their plethora of resources to help deliver my vision no matter how ridiculous it is.

I recall all the conversations I have had with my business partners where the boys have been the subject of conversation and the resulting consensus is “Thank God for Kyron”.

Memories of their incredible team come flooding back. The great times on site. The incredible attitude of ‘everything possible and nothing can’t be done’.

I think of all these things and realize that if I actually do give a testimony, more people might use them, as they should if I’m being honest with myself.

That would mean I would have to share them.

I hate sharing.

“Hello? Jarrad? You there?” – I hear crack through the speaker.

4 minutes had passed. Oops.

“Oh yeah, sorry dude I was in an elevator”

“For 4 minutes?” He asks suspiciously.

“…. yes.” I reply, also suspiciously.

“Anyway, think you can help us out?” He asks again.

“Sure thing mate, I’ll help you out and hopefully it drums up some more business for you!” I reply gleefully, knowing full well that I have no intention of sharing their crew with anyone else in my snake-infested industry.

I hang up – knowing full well I’m keeping the industries best kept secret to myself.
